A Tasting Menu

An evening at Alma is a journey through time. It is a story compiling moments and places of our lives as a couple, chef and sommelier, from the beaches of Oaxaca, to the mountains of central Mexico, to the vineyards of Catalunya and coastal Spain. It is an ode to the concept of travel, to the passage of time, to eventually returning to your roots, capturing the nostalgia of tastes, emotions and human connections experienced along the way.

Menu Carte Blanche

The most intimate and unique expression of Alma, the Menu Carte Blanche is a 9-course tasting menu inspired by Chef Juan Lopez Luna’s past and present memories of Mexico, featuring heirloom corn from his home state of Tlaxcala and fresh, seasonal ingredients from Quebec. It is a journey to our most favorite places, largely inspired by the concept of “mar y montaña," where the mountains meet the sea.

Our 5 service tasting menu offers a glimpse of the Menu Carte Blanche. You begin with the first 5 savory courses and then you decide how your evening will evolve by completing the menu with additional plates and/or dessert.

an alternative way to discover Alma

For those who are curious but searching for a bit more freedom, the à la carte menu is offered as an option for a maximum of two people to visit Alma and discover the individual plates from our tasting menu.

**To have the true Alma experience, we do strongly suggest reserving for the Menu Carte Blanche or the 5-course menu.
